Spares and Servicing

Asset management and power quality are the two main needs of the hour for which we have established a separate division that provides complete solutions. Currently, along with all our manufactured products we are also offering after sales services by focusing on On-load Tap Changers and Transformer Accessories. We are also supplying Online Oil Filtering Unit, Remote Tap-change Control Cubicle (RTCC) and Conservators.

Furthermore, the company is also undertaking the job of retrofitting of Pressed Steel Radiators, Onload Tapchangers and Explosion Prevention & Fire Extinguishing Systems of Transformers. We are improving the operational efficiency of transformers by:

Increasing the operational life of the Transformers.
Install monitoring systems to reduce downtime.
Prevention from explosion and fire.
Upgrading the OLTC.

CTR is providing 24 x 7 services to the clients through:

Supplying the genuine parts of transformers, tapchangers, forklifts, etc.
Taking the help of our 7 technocrats and 19 engineers.
Staff employed in our regional & zonal offices.

Research and Development Center

A modern research & development centre is developed by us at Nasik which enables us to upgrade the technology and evaluate the reliability of substation equipment through the studies of Diagnostic & Life Extension. Our authorized R&D division is recognized by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research and Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

With the help of our in-house testing facilities, we examine Onload Tapchangers upto 765 kV and other Electrical Equipment on the parameters of:

Lightening and switching impulse voltage
Partial discharge
Power frequency voltage
Short circuit current
Switching tests including service duty and breaking capacity
Tan delta
Temperature rise

Services Offered: CTR conducts different kind of tests on transformers, circuit breakers, OLTC and other electrical equipments as per the guidelines of:

Ministry of Science and Technology, Dept. of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India.
National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

Our production facility is located in Aurangabad, Nasik and Pune in India along with the marketing & after sales service offices situated all across the nation. With our rich industrial experience and domain expertise, we have made various associations worldwide.

Milestones

1964: Established in this year.
1965: Made technical collaboration with MW Germany for sourcing Radiators.
1966: Technically collaborated with EE UK for sourcing Flange mounted OnLoad Tapchangers.
In the same year, we have set up our first manufacturing facility at Pune.
1976 : Developed the second production unit at Aurangabad.
1984: Signed agreement of Technical Assistance with Permaequip U.K. for manufacturing Railway Tracks and Overhead Maintenance Systems.
1996: Signed Technology transfer agreement with ELIN, an Austria based firm for Fire Fighting Equipment for Oil Immersed Transformers and Onload Intank Tapchangers.
1998: Successfully achieved ISO certification.
2006: Sourced Wind Turbine Generator
2008: Added Handling Equipment in our product portfolio.
2008: Started CSR activities.
2009: Became Holding Company for PAPL, Nashik.
2012: Setup a Research & Development Centre at Nashik.

1. Powering the Roots of Change

We, CTR Manufacturing Industries Ltd. have adopted two villages- Bazar Vahegaon & Ambadgaon in Jalna district and Mulegaon in Nashik district along with the NGO Vanrai to ensure sustainable rural development. The main motive behind the adoption is to improve the health & hygiene in rural areas and to generate more employment opportunities.

Plantation- Horticulture plantation.
Water Recharge- Well recharge, Gabion bunds, farm ponds & rainwater harvesting.
Dairy Development- Veterinary camps & fodder development.

Installed Wind Turbine Generator for captive power consumption.
Water harvesting to recharge borewells.
Water used in canteens and washrooms for hand washing is recycled for gardens.
Adopted Vegetative Technique process for the filtration of toxic waste comes from the neighboring industries.
Acquired a natural process for cooling the air in a factory by utilizing the wind chilling techniques of Mughal Era in which we do not uses electrical energy and another one is wind flow data.
Recycling of discarded steel and wood.
Recycling paper for internal usage.
